Napalm Death - Lockup - Disfear - Entombed

OK- Shane in Lockup with Lindberg who is in Disfear with Uffe formerly of Entombed.
You know this means that every other Swedish metal band has a relation to Napalm Death....and many more posts to cover it!!
Entombed is doing a short U.S. tour this June- I'll be at the Chicago show and so should you.

Cause of Death

Napalm Death - Meathook Seed - Obituary - Andrew W.K.

In 1992 Mitch Harris from Napalm Death got together with Trevor and Donald from Obituary to form an "industrial" metal band- Shane was nice enough to help with some samples. (Thx!)

So, Napalm Death has their "seed" planted well within the Florida death metal scene.

Then Donald went to play on Andrew W.K.'s first release and tour.

Angel of (napalm) Death

NAPALM DEATH - BRUJERIA - FAITH NO MORE - FANTOMAS - SLAYER

Yes, the godfathers of grind are related to "fuckin" Slayer.

Brujeria has 3 members from Napalm Death (Shane, Jesse and Raymond) and Billy Gould (Faith No More) - Mike Patton from FNM was in Fantomas with Dave Lombardo from the mighty Slayer.
Kinda going the Bacon route here, but that's how fun this can get.

Napalm Lockup

Napalm Death- Lockup (Shane Embury and Jesse Pintado r.i.p.)

Simple enough - Shane and Jesse from Napalm Death in this band with Thomas Lindberg (At the Gates, etc, etc) and Nick Baker (Dimmu Borgir, etc.etc) New line up is Shane, Thomas, Nick and Anton guitarist from the thrash band Criminal.

"PLAY FROM YOUR FUCKING HEART"

Those Hippies in Napalm Death

Napalm Death - Carcass - Electro Hippies (Jeff Walker from Carcass)
Jeff Walker was the guitarist/vocalist in Electro Hippies before joining Carcass.
The bands sound is a crust, punk and grindcore mesh - and they didn't like McDonald's.
Poor Grimace.

The Blackstar Carcass Rising

Napalm Death - Carcass - Blackstar aka Blackstar Rising (Jeff Walker and Ken Owen from Carcass)

Blackstar Rising is just a continuation of Carcass without Bill Steer and the addition of Mark Griffiths from Cathedral on guitar. A more rock 'n roll band than metal, but some catchy tunes and riffs. Don't expect any blast beats or intricate guitar work, just tunes to have a good time with.
Me likes.
Thoughts?
You know where to get music from.
